Job Summary
Are you a Data Engineerwho enjoys delivering high-quality analytics-ready data Join one of Australias leading aged care providers on our digital transformation journey as we look to develop our data and analytics capability. This is a full-time role based at our corporate office in West Perth.
About the role
Forming a crucial part of our BI & Analytics team you will be responsible for building maintaining and improving data pipelines and curated datasets within the Microsoft Fabric platform. Reporting to the Business Intelligence & Automation Manager your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining scalable data ingestion pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
- Ensuring data quality reliability and performance through validation checks monitoring and incident resolution
- Optimising pipelines using incremental loading and performance tuning to meet data freshness and availability SLAs
- Collaborating with BI Analysts and Analytics leadership to translate reporting requirements into fit-for-purpose datasets
- Applying strong governance documentation and change control practices across data assets
What youll bring
The successful Data Engineer will have:
- Strong SQL skills (joins aggregations window functions)
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling
- Exposure to cloud data platforms or modern analytics stacks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of incremental load and performance optimisation techniques
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (desirable)
- Full working rights in Australia
- 2025 Influenza vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Clearance from within the past 6 months (or willingness to obtain)
