The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation treatment habilitation and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions jail-based evaluations supervised group home and residential programs forensic evaluation care custody and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric care are coordinated with the total system of care in Louisiana
ELMHS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the CFS department.

Job Duties:
In this role you will:
- Court Related- Prepares cases by drafting pleadings. Composes briefs memoranda and other legal correspondence such as Civil Judicial Commitment petitions and court orders and/or judgments for commitment of patient for the local Court.
- Hospital Admissions- Gathers information needed for the completion of all required documents prior to hospital admission as outlined in 648.1.
- Administrative Management- Maintains databases to manage the Court-ordered Consent Decree waiting list and compliance with other federal court mandates under minimal supervision from the CFS Director.
- Miscellaneous- Assures compliance of hospital and departmental regulations and guidelines regarding completion of required training classes.
