OVERVIEW
The Architecture Design team is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work with us on exciting new retail projects. Alo is home to a talented close-knit team of design professionals that are passionate about producing excellent design and we are seeking motivated architects and designers who are excited to grow with us!
As a Senior Project Manager you will design and manage a multitude of projects varying in complexity from development from feasibility thru construction. Alo is growing fast and we are looking for an individual with an elevated aesthetic seasoned in the realm of retail architecture who can thrive in a fast paced and driven environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Oversee the management of the store design development and administration processes on 10-15 projects in various stages of development
- Assist with real estate queries and pre-lease/lease negotiations related to design and construction
- Prepare feasibility studies on subject properties
- Lead the coordination and management of internal department input and approvals on assigned projects
- Ensure designs and design execution meet Alo Brand Standards
- Develop project specific details and specifications as required
- Manage landlord communications regarding design project set up and tenant coordination
- Lead internal design process and manage the completion of internal design documents (plans elevations details specifications and renderings)
- Manage consultants on the execution of design development and construction documents ensuring that all documents meet Alo standards architectural quality standards applicable building codes landlord and project specific requirements
- Assist the team in ensuring the timely execution of assigned projects
- Assist the construction team on initial project budgets as well as the bidding and selection process
- Assist the construction team on any requests for information or issues that come up during the course of construction
- Review submittals and shop drawings for design conformance
- On-site observations when required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor or Masterss Degree in Architecture Interior Architecture Design or related field.
- 10-15 years of design/project management experience ideally in the retail field
- Proficiency in Autocad Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite Microsoft Excel and Project
- Strong communication (both verbal and written)
- Strong relationship management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong production technical and research skills
- Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Significant knowledge of and experience with construction
- Passionate self-starting intelligent dedicated efficient
- Enjoys both taking responsibility and team collaboration
- Passion for both the big picture design ideas and the details
- Knowledgeable of retail related ADA compliance and building codes
- Sustainable building practice experience preferred LEED AP is favorable
The base salary range for this position is $150000 -$175000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. As such on occasion and when applicable there is the possibility that the final agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the companys total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses long term incentives a PTO policy and many other progressive benefits.
