He aha tau mahi - What you will do:
You will often work in a sole charge capacity (after an initial training period) and require a full Class 1 or 2 license. Its pretty physical as youll be moving a lot of LPG cylinders loading and unloading them on to trucks. Were big on health and safety here at Rockgas so youll need to do all this while maintaining a safe work environment.
While its great if youve already got your Class 2 license (even as a learner) we are also keen to hear from you if you have a full Class 1 and want to get into driving as a career. We will support you to get your Class 2 license and make sure you get lots of driving experience.

To be successful in securing this role youll need to have:
- A minimum Class 1 full licence or a Class 2 heavy trade vehicle licence (a Dangerous Goods endorsement would be an advantage but we can train for this).
- Proven experience driving a truck preferably in a delivery role
- A strong customer service focus
- A very good level of physical fitness in order to move LPG cylinders
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to working as part of a team
- A strong work ethic integrity and adaptability
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and in all weather conditions
The recruitment process for this role involves a medical check which includes a drug and alcohol test and a criminal record check.
