AEMT/Paramedic ProgressiveHealth LLC Montgomery AL
We are looking for an energetic and results-driven PRN Paramedic to join our Emergency Response Team (ERT)! Help us provide onsite support at a local automotive manufacturer in Montgomery AL. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive supportive and innovative team!
What will you be doing in this role
- Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports
- Assess a patients condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol
- Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients
- Responding to all fires/fire alarms and taking appropriate actions
- Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner
- Inventory replace and clean supplies and equipment after use
- Inspecting and completing audits on all equipment and systems
- Assisting medical clinic staff with patient are as requested

Our ideal candidate will have:
- The required state licensure certification and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- The ability to stand or sit throughout entire assigned shift walk for extended periods of time and climb several flights of stairs
- Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs at least 100 feet
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel
Eligibility to Work:
This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g. H-1B OPT etc.).
