- Act as the visible leader during bar service in the absence of the Assistant Manager or Manager.
- Oversee the shift and allocate bar duties to team members when leadership is not present.
- Represent the Bar team in operational meetings when required.
- Ensure all bar opening and closing procedures are completed and all documentation is accurately recorded.
- Maintain the cleanliness organisation and presentation of the bar and surrounding areas to Fairmont standards.
- Monitor and replenish bar stock levels placing orders as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues to support smooth service flow.
- Maintain a strong guestfocused approach and ensure the team delivers warm attentive bar service.
- Prepare and serve drinks accurately and consistently following brand standards.
- Handle guest issues or complaints appropriately and update the Bar Manager on actions taken.
- Identify opportunities to upsell beverages and support daily revenue generation.
- Stay aware of daily business levels and upcoming events impacting bar service.
- Take responsibility for all payments and financial transactions during the shift.
- Lead preshift briefings in the absence of the Assistant Manager or Manager.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a Supervisory role ideally within a luxury or highvolume environment.
- Qualification in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred
- Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage
- Experienced in all aspects of restaurant and banquet service.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity with proven records in delivering results
- Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
