The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated individual (minimum Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent) to join our growing team as an Area Care Supervisor at our Church Stretton office.
This primarily office-based role offers the opportunity to take the next step in your career into a leadership and supervisory position. You will play a vital role in ensuring clients receive high-quality person-centred care while supporting mentoring and developing our Care Professionals to deliver services in line with regulatory company and franchise standards.
You will oversee a team of Care Professionals monitor service quality maintain compliance and contribute to the smooth and effective operation of care delivery within the community. The role includes participation in an out-of-hours/on-call rota on a structured basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of Care Professionals providing guidance training support and mentorship
- Conduct client quality assurance visits and regular home visits to assess care needs and service quality
- Complete service reviews care plan reviews and updates ensuring accurate digital care documentation
- Create and coordinate care plans tailored to individual client requirements
- Conduct client and Care Professional introductions
- Carry out staff supervisions competency assessments and support visits
- Monitor and evaluate Care Professional performance providing feedback and implementing improvement plans where required
- Maintain accurate client and staff records using care management systems
- Ensure compliance with company policies safeguarding requirements medication management standards and industry regulations
- Collaborate with clients families and healthcare professionals to ensure effective care coordination
- Address and resolve client and Care Professional concerns in a timely and compassionate manner
- Participate in the out-of-hours/on-call rota
- Carry out any additional duties necessary for the successful operation of the business
Qualifications :
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Experience delivering care services and working in or moving toward a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of medication management and care documentation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident IT skills and experience using digital care systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle with appropriate business insurance
