Job Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality or hotel environments demonstrating a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. As a Housekeeping supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for all guests.
Duties
- To work close with Head housekeeper to ensure all rooms are cleaned to required standard to complete room checks after housekeepers have cleaned rooms
- Complete all Housekeeping admin/ordering in the absence of the Head Housekeeper
- Compile weekly/monthly rotas in the absence of the Head Housekeeper
- Perform cleaning of guest rooms bathrooms and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness to follow cleaning schedule
- Dust and polish furniture fixtures and fittings to maintain an appealing environment.
- To cover Head housekeeper when off this is to open the shift and to complete all tasks sheets for the housekeeping team .
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good condition ensuring they are stocked as needed.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing walking lifting and bending throughout the shift.
Qualifications :
Extensive experience of hotel housekeeping operations and supervision
