VCA Implementation Services (VIS) extends Visas consulting capabilities by turning strategic recommendations into actionable solutions. We help clients implement these recommendations effectively enabling them to scale their competitive advantage and thrive in the digital age.

We are seeking a Senior Payments Technology & Business Transformation Manager to lead complex consulting and implementation engagements for banks fintechs and processors. This is a highly technical leadership role requiring a strategic mindset deep payments expertise and the ability to bridge business and technology. You will set the direction for worldclass end-to-end technical delivery starting with solution design You will set the direction for world-class end-to-end technical delivery starting with solution design and ensuring technical excellence throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.

What youll do day to day:

Lead client-facing change initiatives from current state to target solution ensuring successful delivery of payments technology and business transformation projects.

Develop comprehensive solution architectures that align business objectives with technology capabilities ensuring scalability security and seamless integration with existing client environments.

Develop and test solution hypotheses design robust and scalable solutions and provide clear actionable implementation recommendations tailored to client needs.

Facilitate effective collaboration among business and technology colleagues fostering transparency shared ownership and continuous improvement.

Manage project resources and timelines across Visa client and third-party teams ensuring clear visibility and progress reporting.

Steer and oversee third-party suppliers ensuring their deliverables align with project objectives quality standards and timelines while proactively managing risks and fostering productive partnerships.

Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders ensuring alignment on objectives and outcomes.

Identify and pursue commercial opportunities during engagements positioning Visas solutions effectively.

Mentor and develop team members contributing to a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

Provide thought leadership on payments and technology transformation contributing to strategic discussions and innovation.

Collaborate closely with Visa Consulting and other business units leveraging expertise and best practices to maximise client value.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :

What wed like from you -

Proven experience of client-facing consulting experience in Business IT or Technology Consulting including ownership of workstreams or programmes.

Proven progression through consulting roles with experience leading complex projects or programmes.

Deep understanding of payments and financial services including card lifecycle account-to-account journeys and open banking.

Track record of translating analytical findings into actionable implementation recommendations.

Strong project delivery expertise including familiarity with methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Commercial and sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and position Visas solutions effectively.

Strong stakeholder management skills including at senior executive levels.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.

Fluency in English and German.

We also value:

Experience guiding API-led integration microservices and event-driven architectures in enterprise environments.

Practical experience with business intelligence KPI design and dashboarding for sales or operations.

Exposure to software asset management presales and regulated sector engagements.

Experience in business readiness and change management.

Familiarity with digital payment innovations and emerging technologies.

Awareness and/or interest in AI-driven solutions and their potential applications in payments and financial services.
