Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a Controller to help us leverage systems drive operational efficiency and provide support over international expansion. The Controller will be tasked with monthly financial reporting and ensure a smooth financial close process.

What Youll Do:

• Preparation of monthly quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements to both internal and external stakeholders
• Lead NetSuite reimplementation for accounting topics partnering with internal tech group along with outside consultants
• Manage annual financial statement audit and international statutory audits
• Oversee month-end close process with added focus on revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations
• Document key accounting policies and update technical memos
• Develop and train accounting team members
• Partner with tax and FP&A teams on various projects and workstreams
• Update Companys internal control narratives and matrices

What Youll Need to Have:

Required:

• Great communication skills both written and oral
• CPA License (inactive OK)
• Excellent people management skills
• Advanced Excel user comfortable working with large datasets
• Experience using NetSuite or other large ERP
• 13 years of experience in accounting with public and private background
• Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience at nationally recognized firm
• Strong technical working of GAAP and ability to research complex topics
• 4-year degree in accounting or finance
• Great attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

Preferred:

• Experience working at a Start-up or pre-IPO company
• Experience working with foreign subsidiaries a plus
• Prior experience with D2C businesses in the consumer products space
• Knowledge over ASC 606 and ASC 718

Compensation:

• $175000 - $200000 per year base salary dependent on experience
• An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
• Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
