Job Summary
Are you passionate about the future of stablecoin payments and driven by opportunities to scale new products and businesses As the Visa Crypto Business Development Director you will be joining the Sales Partnerships & GTM part of the Visa Crypto organization and you would be responsible for working with existing and forming new crypto ecosystem partners. This role requires an experienced partnerships professional who can identify potential deals develop the tactics and work cross-functionally and with clients to bring opportunities to closed deals and revenue. The crypto GTM & partnerships team works closely with Visas crypto product and strategy teams account managers risk legal and finance to execute sales opportunities. This Director will be an early team member and involved in shaping Visas global and regional go-to-market strategies as well as identifying and forming new partnerships to enhance Visas capabilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage existing and formulate new ecosystem partnerships with blockchains stablecoin issuers orchestration providers Defi protocols and other partner archetypes
- Execute on commercial and strategic deals and bring new capabilities and products to market with partners
- Help shape Go-To-Market strategy and execution for Visa Crypto solutions at a global level with global clients and working closely with regional counterparts on go-to-market and client activities
- Working internally and cross functionally on new sourcing and pilot partnership opportunities and find ways to streamline new partnership activities and operations
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
- Financial services crypto and/or payments industry experience required
- High product acumen and solutions mindset
- Proven record of implementing strategic initiatives policies and operational decisions
- Proven ability to form new partnerships and find new sales opportunities in white space demonstrating commercial creativity and instincts alongside negotiation skills
- Strategic thinking and thought leadership with subject matter expertise in stablecoins and blockchain technology
- Teamwork interpersonal & relationship-building skills and ability to lead by influence and example
- Proven ability to partner communicate and manage/navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groups
- Experience managing up building Executive Level communications and delivering presentations
- Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment and to influence senior management and other relevant parties
- Executive presence Strong written and oral communication including large-group presentations
- Previous experience in an operating role at a startup or high growth company preferred
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 178300.00 to 285600.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
