Pipelayer

Skilled Pipelayer Up to 2m Deep

Join Coinford specialists in groundworks and concrete frames. We are looking for experienced pipelayers to support ongoing and long-term projects across our sites.

Essential Role Requirements:

• Proven experience as a pipelayer working in trenches up to 2 metres deep

• Able to read and work from drawings and site documentation

• Competent in the use and set-up of trench boxes drag boxes and manhole boxes

• Confident using pipe lasers

• Experience laying concrete clay and plastic pipes ensuring correct bedding surround and testing

• Able to manage groundwater including setting up pumps as required

• Knowledge of correct backfilling techniques

• Experience with manhole benching

• Confident working around live services and applying service avoidance techniques

Desirable:

• CPCS/NPORS tickets (dumper or roller beneficial)

• 5 years experience in pipelaying or skilled groundworks

• Experience working as part of an established gang or team

• Able to work well with other trades and support programme delivery
