Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Package Responsible (Compressors)
Remote or hybrid working accepted
Occasional travel to client or vendor sites

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Package Responsible Engineer with a strong compressor background to support complex energy projects. The role is compressor-led covering technical ownership from specification through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Mechanical Package Responsible for centrifugal and reciprocating compressor packages
- Prepare datasheets specifications requisitions and technical bid evaluations
- Lead supplier technical clarifications deviations and document reviews
- Interface with process piping electrical and instrumentation teams
- Participate in package kick-offs design reviews FATs and inspections
- Support installation mechanical completion and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with API ASME ISO NORSOK and client standards
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years experience in mechanical package engineering
- Proven compressor package experience is essential
- Background in oil and gas gas processing LNG or power generation
- Fluent English communication skills
