Position Description
Works independently under limited supervision as an SAP TM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences transportation processes. Responsible for end-to-end SAP TM implementations rollouts and production support ensuring GxP compliance optimized freight execution and seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA logistics modules. The role has direct impact on regulatory compliance logistics efficiency and business continuity.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
SAP TM Functional Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end configuration of SAP TM on S/4HANA.
Configure and manage Transportation Network including locations zones and lanes.
Setup and manage Freight Units Freight Orders and Freight Bookings.
Handle Transportation Planning and Execution including carrier selection and tendering.
Configure Charge Management Freight Cost Distribution and Freight Settlement.
Support SAP TM production issues enhancements and optimization initiatives.
Pharma IndustrySpecific Responsibilities
Manage GxP-compliant transportation processes in regulated environments.
Support Cold Chain Logistics including temperature-controlled shipments.
Handle logistics processes for batch-managed and serialized pharmaceutical products.
Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) requirements.
Maintain audit readiness validation documentation and compliance evidence.
Support change management within validated SAP landscapes.
Integration Responsibilities
Integrate SAP TM with:
SAP SD (Sales Orders Outbound Deliveries)
SAP MM (Purchase Orders STOs Inbound Deliveries)
SAP EWM (Warehouse integration)
SAP GTS (Export/Import compliance good to have)
Manage CIF-based master data transfers.
Support IDoc- and API-based transactional integrations between SAP systems.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills
5 years of experience in SAP TM on S/4HANA.
Strong functional expertise in transportation planning execution and settlement.
Proven experience in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences domain.
Hands-on experience with GxP GDP and regulated SAP environments.
Strong understanding of SAP logistics integrations (SD MM EWM).
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with SAP GTS integration.
Exposure to freight optimization and performance analytics.
Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager ChaRM or validation tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
