Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3000 talented individuals working in India Romania and Philippines in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. Role accountabilities:

  • Work within established standard and developing new operating procedure and systems with clear project objectives to produce delivery output schedules and track budgets highlighting variances in order to manage and control project delivery targets.
  • Deliver/assist to manage small to medium scale projects or programs ensuring appropriate use of resources to deliver the required scope of work within set deadlines.
  • In charge of overseeing the Planning/Schedule Management aspect across various intricate projects or a comprehensive program or portfolio of tasks.
  • Oversee aspects of Project Programme and Project Controls.
  • Interpret data to develop recommendations supporting senior decision-making and communicate planning/schedule information.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party contractors to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations.
  • Undertaking delay analysis / Extension of Time Assessments.
  • Coordination of supply chain planning/schedule requirements and information.
  • Provide risk management and project support conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify constraints and develop mitigation strategies. Present project risks and issues to senior managers to ensure compliance and minimize adverse impacts.
  • Interact effectively across the organization fostering collaboration to meet internal customer expectations and successfully deliver projects/programs.
  • Apply technical expertise to complete complex tasks prioritizing workload and interpreting policies to support the project management function effectively.
  • Provide specialist advice and support on planning queries to internal and external stakeholders ensuring efficient and high-quality provision of information.
  • Advise colleagues on issues relating to own projects providing subject matter advice to support delivery and ensure there is alignment between policy and operational practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Construction Management or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 8 years of proven experience as a Planner with a professional experience in consultancy or contracting.
  • Advance proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera 6 or ASTA Powerproject).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite- strong use of Excel.
  • Previous experience in development of Industrial facilities ( data center life science manufacturing ) is highly desired.
  • Ideally possess proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).
  • Experience with preparing Design Programme and Construction Programme
  • Good experience with preparing weekly or monthly progress reports including s-curves and earned value analysis.
  • Familiarity with RICS procedures or surveying (nice to have)
  • Experience of using programme analysis tools (e.g. XER Toolkit Acumen Fuse or similar) is a plus.
  • Can build master programmes from scratch including logic links and adding any necessary resource and cost loading.
  • Able to monitor project progress and advise on how to mitigate delay. Can undertake forensic delay analysis.
  • Good English skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams.
