ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain overall cleanliness of food stations from the FOH perspective while maintaining cleanliness and stir product to maintain freshness.
Maintains assigned station and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition
Maintain quality and presence of food on the food stations
Change or refresh food on food stations
Notify cooks when preparation of food is necessary to maintain food stations
Work with Stewarding staff reporting any areas that need to be addressed from a cleanliness or safety perspective.
Must maintain professional appearance at all times staying upbeat and positive.
Adhere to kitchen maintenance sanitation programs
Other duties assigned by Chef.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Local health department sanitation certificate.
Must be able to bend stoop reach crouch kneel push and pull when rotating stock and cleaning work area.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk; use hands and fingers handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to use specific vision abilities which include lose vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to speak read write and understand English and be able to conduct conversations with peers in a distinctive and persuasive manner.
Must be able to lift up/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat.
