Walton Arts Center Inc. operates two campuses: a 1200-seat proscenium theatre and 269-seat black box in Fayetteville and an 11000-capacity outdoor Amphitheatre known as the Walmart AMP in Rogers AR. Walton Arts Center has been Arkansas premier performing arts center for over 30 years and Walmart AMP has consistently been one of Billboards top-rated amphitheaters producing 30 plus concerts per season.
Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains NWA (as the locals refer to it) includes Benton Washington and Madison counties with five cities: Bentonville Fayetteville Rogers Springdale and Siloam Springs. Position Overview
The AMP Usher / Ticket Taker / Greeter is a Part-Time Seasonal position running from April through October. This role is part of the Front of House Team and plays a key role in creating a welcoming safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service greeting guests scanning tickets answering questions and assisting with any concerns that may arise during events.
Most events begin between 4:305:00 PM and conclude by approximately 11:45 PM. There is a three-hour minimum call time and many shifts range from 3 to 4 hours in length. Team members must be flexible and available to work both weekdays and weekends.
This position is based at an outdoor venue and employees should expect exposure to varying weather conditions including heat cold wind and precipitation.
Attitude & Guest Experience
A positive friendly and professional attitude is essential in this role. AMP Ushers / Ticket Takers / Greeters are often the first and last point of contact for patrons and are responsible for helping ensure every guest has a great time at our venue. Being approachable attentive and dependablewhile maintaining a calm and welcoming presenceis key to delivering an outstanding guest experience. Attitude is everything!
