Our client Xtillion is a high-growth technology services firm based in San Juan PR. The company seeks to capitalize on the booming Big Data and AI markets by helping enterprise clients optimize and secure their data infrastructure and turn data into a strategic advantage through next-gen analytics and AI tools.

As an Engineering Manager you will work closely with a talented team of engineers data scientists and product managers to develop and maintain high-quality data solutions for our this role you will leverage your problem-solving abilities to address client challenges work directly with clients to understand their needs and lead client-facing projects to deliver impactful data solutions. Additionally you will be challenged to continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies applying them to enhance the efficiency and functionality of our solutions.

Responsibilities include:

Solve client challenges by analyzing their business problems and developing tailored data solutions.
Lead client-facing projects ensuring effective communication on-time delivery and alignment with client expectations.
Work with a cross-functional team of business analysts architects engineers data analysts and data scientists to formulate business and technical requirements.
Apply Machine Learning Deep Learning and other relevant technologies to assist in building AI products that solve real business problems.
Lead the design development presentation and delivery of traditional ML solutions in areas such as Computer Vision NLP Recommendation Systems etc.

What we are looking for:

General:

6 years of full-stack software engineering experience including architecture and solutioning in a client-facing or consulting environment.
Proven ability to lead client projects build strong relationships and deliver results aligned with client goals.
Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
Proactive positive attitude well-organized and adept at managing competing deadlines and priorities.
Highly motivated strong desire to learn and grow with the company and possess a positive energetic attitude.
Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment wanting to learn new skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Technical:

Proven expertise in building and maintaining complex ETL pipelines.
Experience in with RAG agentic workflows fine tuning or other LLM-based
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
Proficient in working with SQL DBMS systems (e.g. SQL Server Oracle Redshift Teradata).
Experience with version control systems (e.g. GitHub) and CI/CD processes.
Knowledge of code orchestration tools (e.g. AWS Step Functions Apache Airflow).
Strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
