Were looking for a Packaging Technologist to join a major European food processor that quietly sits at the top of its game in the fresh and frozen protein world - this role is for a packaging enthusiast who is ready to take that next step and ready to make a visible impact.

Reporting into the Group Packaging Development team take ownership of packaging applications and specifications on site leading packaging briefs trials and projects from concept through to approval. Explore new materials and technologies to improve shelf life sustainability and cost efficiency while managing validation approvals and delivering value engineering projects that balance commercial reality with customer expectations.

Youll work cross-functionally across a number of teams primarily acting as one of the packaging voices in NPD operations technical supply chain and commercial conversations. Support the NPD team through the approval process of new products liaise with planning to ensure packaging is ordered and delivered on time and compile and review data to spot trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Build rock-solid partnerships with key suppliers lead solutions for packaging challenges produce prototypes and samples for testing and collaborate with Group colleagues to drive more sustainable packaging across the wider business.
