About the Role
Youll provide support across Group Support Community Access In-Home Support and Supported Independent Living (SILS). This means helping people with disability live as independently as possible whether at home or out in the community. Every day is different!
Were looking for people with availability to work across a fortnightly roster including mornings afternoons weekends and overnight.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care daily routines and household tasks
- Assist with meal planning cooking and light cleaning
- Facilitate community connection through social outings and appointments
- Help individuals build life skills such as budgeting and social interaction
- Maintain strong relationships with families friends and support networks
What Youll Bring
- Empathy reliability and a proactive attitude
- Experience in one-on-one and group support settings
- Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including sleepovers (penalty rates apply)
- A current drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage behaviours and implement positive reinforcement strategies
You will be required to undertake a Fit2Work National Criminal History Check and hold or be willing to obtain a WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
