To thrive as an Executive Assistant at Southwest Health System Inc. a blend of skills and qualifications is essential.

Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer a four-year degree in a business management or healthcare administration related field of study.
  • Prefer certification related to Executive Assistant. No licensure required

Language Skills:

  • Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

  • Understanding initiatives that drive operational efficiency service expansion and revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of hospital workflows departmental operations staffing models and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodology quality improvement frameworks and risk management practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging staff leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead mentor and inspire teams while fostering a positive work culture.
  • Capacity to manage multiple initiatives and adapt to evolving operational needs.
  • High degree of integrity sound judgment and timely decision-making with creative problem-solving.
  • Expertise in managing complex multi-layered schedules and priorities for multiple executives.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in deadline management project tracking and organized systems.
  • Strong foundation in business operations project management and basic financial concepts.
  • Understanding of Southwest Health System goals and how departments function within the organization.
  • Knowledge of efficient information flow task management and system development.
  • Advanced proficiency in scheduling presentation virtual meeting and project management software.
