Job Summary
We are currently in need of multiple Business Financial Managers (BFM)to partner long-term with a reputable mid-size government contractor that works very closely with theDepartment of the Navyto deliver quality solutions across Engineering R&D and position works directly with Senior Leaders as part of a collaborative and established Finance team!
This position offers the opportunity to fine-tune your finance skills while gaining valuable exposure to MANY different Navy-based engineering portfolios. If you are looking for stability growth opportunities and a solid team we would love to hear from you!
Location:Onsite Navy Yard in Washington D.C
Clearance: Active Secret OR Interim Secret Required
What You Will Be Doing:
- Play a key part within a collaborative team.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and present findings.
- Create and distribute weekly summaries for all active funding and develop automatic queries.
- Provide customer interface for data used in the entry of task modifications into the Enterprise Planning System.
- Provide task monitoring of fiscal year allocation plans and execution reports.
- Develop and edit briefings and financial data involving Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Process funding documents (create/track/report) as needed.
- Participate in planning meetings with government and business partners.
Requirements:
- Completed Bachelors degree.
- Active Secret OR Interim Secret level securityclearance REQUIRED.
- Minimum of 3 years of relative experience.
- Experience with either N-EPS (Navy Enterprise Planning Systems) OR PRs.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
