Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Locum Pediatric Physician in Dickinson ND

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a critical access hospital in Dickinson North Dakota where you will provide care in the Labor and Delivery/Pediatrics unit including managing a Level II nursery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work 24-hour call shifts for 7 days per month ensuring high-quality care for newborns and pediatric patients.

Job Responsibilities:

Attend vaginal deliveries when requested and manage scheduled and emergent C-sections.
Admit and discharge newborns and provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Perform circumcisions and other required pediatric procedures.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff anesthesiologists respiratory therapists and local pediatricians.
Utilize EMR system (Meditech) for patient documentation and care management.
Respond to patient needs effectively during on-call shifts.

Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics (Highly Preferred).
Must hold a valid North Dakota Medical License or an IMLC.
Current certifications in ACLS BLS PALS and NRP.
Clean malpractice record.
Availability at the time of name clearance.
A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory.

License and Certification Requirements:

ND Medical License or IMLC (Required).
ACLS BLS PALS NRP certifications (Required).
Clean malpractice history (Required).
