We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our Engineering Finance team. As an Engineering Finance senior member the Engineering FP&A leader is a key partner for the Engineering organization spanning 5000 employees and over $1B of functional costs. This role will be a key enabler as this organization grows to meet and transforms towards the Engineering 2030 vision. The role will be critical in supporting operational decision-making managing headcount compensation & benefits cost planning engineering cost liquidation and supporting key financial cycles including pacing budgeting and reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead financial planning analysis and reporting to Gas Power Headquarters managing financial submissions for planning cycles pacing and monthly operations. Lead forecasting and performance updates in collaboration with business teams.
Support in stablishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results analyze performance and recommend corrective actions to enhance financial outcomes. Partner with Engineering to drive cost productivity and ensure business objectives are met.
Serve as a strategic partner to the Engineering GMs and their global operations teams. Drive sustainable cost and productivity improvements identify risks and opportunities and engage stakeholders to address critical issues.
Lead a functional team with moderate resource requirements and complexity.
Guide teams in developing creative solutions for complex organizational challenges. Critically evaluate information question inconsistencies and leverage diverse resources to inform decision-making.
Engineering Processes Enhancement: Identify opportunities for enhancing engineering financial processes leading initiatives to streamline and improve efficiency.
Champion LEAN initiatives and support business transformation. Collaborate across finance and other functions to implement strategic priorities streamline processes and drive operational simplification.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing activities aligning financial results with business expectations and proactively identifying risks.
Uphold excellence in controllership ensuring compliance with GE Vernova policies regulatory requirements internal controls and audit standards while facilitating best practice sharing across the organization.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 7 years of finance experience of increasing responsibility
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Characteristics
Experience leading people preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to partner/push an operating team
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Experience and interest in driving process improvement
Excellent time management organizational and data driven skills
