Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support a banking technology environment focusing on system reliability scalability and performance. The role involves building and operating cloud-based infrastructure on AWS driving SRE best practices and improving resilience across critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design build and maintain reliable and scalable systems
Develop automation tools to improve efficiency for DevOps IT Ops and support teams
Build and manage AWS-based cloud infrastructure
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
Lead root cause analysis post-incident reviews and remediation actions
Drive adoption of SRE principles and operational best practices
Monitor system health and performance using logging and monitoring tools
Requirements (Must-Have):
5 years of experience as an SRE / DevOps Engineer or similar role
Strong hands-on AWS experience (designing and operating cloud infrastructure)
Experience with Terraform / Terragrunt and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
Proficiency with Jenkins and GitLab
Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. New Relic ELK Zabbix or equivalents)
Excellent English communication skills
