Position: User Experience Researcher (RE1-RE2)
Location: Saint-Gobain Research India (SGRI) Chennai Tamil Nadu India (On-site)

Role Overview:
As a User Researcher you will play a crucial role in conducting user and consumer research. You will be responsible for managing a variety of qualitative and quantitative research activities applying user research methodologies to inform both short-term and long-term strategic plans. Your insights will directly influence product development and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
User Research Activities:
- Conduct comprehensive user research activities including scoping planning respondent recruitment moderation analysis synthesis and reporting.
- Utilize strong observational and ethnographic skills to understand user and market needs and identify opportunity areas conduct qualitative & quantitative research methodologies efficiently.
Research Strategy Development:
- Develop user research strategies that translate research findings into actionable customer-centric recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest research techniques and methodologies to enhance research effectiveness.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including researchers designers and developers to convert user insights into actionable product/service requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and business leaders ensuring insights are accessible throughout the organization. Efficiently use data analytics tools for primary research synthesis and visualization.
Standardization and Documentation:
- Standardize research methodologies and create supporting documentation (e.g. frameworks scripts templates) to ensure consistency across teams.
- Manage user research insights and facilitate data accessibility within the team and organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in User Research Customer Insights or Qualitative Research.
Educational Background:
- Master’s degree in Anthropology Sociology Psychology Behavioral Sciences or Design with a focus on UX Research. A strong background in qualitative and quantitative research or consumer behavior studies is essential.
Expertise:
- Proven expertise in user insights with strong team management skills.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing a breadth and depth of skills as a Qualitative/ User Researcher.
- Ability to manage multiple significant projects simultaneously demonstrating effective project planning and execution.
- Skilled in translating insights into impactful Business recommendations.
- Having proficiency in Hindi and other regional languages is plus.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong empathy and a user-centered mindset with good skills in qualitative research and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
