Job Summary
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Spanish to students preparing for the IGCSE exams. The teacher will ensure that students are engaged challenged and supported in their language learning journey fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Spanish Modern Languages or a related field.
- Teaching certification (e.g. PGCE QTS or equivalent) or relevant qualification.
- Previous experience teaching Spanish preferably in an IGCSE or similar international curriculum setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the IGCSE Spanish syllabus and exam requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and motivating students in their language learning journey.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with using technology and digital resources in the classroom (e.g. interactive whiteboards online learning platforms).
- Knowledge of Spanish culture and literature to enrich classroom instruction.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
