Our client is a leading e-commerce enabler in Vietnam who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm:
Strategic Business Development
Shape and drive the business development roadmap prioritizing the highest-value growth plays across eCommerce services and new markets.
Spot and validate new revenue streams or service offerings that fit companys strategic priorities.
Lead Vietnam commercial/services acquisitions and support regional expansion initiatives for assigned brands.
Own the full acquisition processfrom pipeline build and negotiation through closing and post-deal integration.
Build and manage strategic partnerships with brands distributors and other commercial partners to accelerate revenue and improve profitability.
Ensure partnership and M&A activities are financially viable legally compliant and operationally executable.
Continuously scan assigned categories for emerging opportunities.
Market Research & Analysis
Run ongoing market and competitor research to surface business and investment opportunities.
Assess each opportunitys financial and strategic attractiveness with Finance/Strategy including ROI and risk considerations.
Monitor delivery performance ROI and synergy capture; provide structured updates to leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership
Work closely with Commercial Operations Finance Legal and Tech to embed new initiatives into existing operations smoothly.
Support capability build and process alignment required for new business models and market entry.
Set KPIs and reporting cadence for all BD projects.
Deliver regular progress reports performance assessments and strategic recommendations to Department Heads and the management team.
Requirements
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree is an advantage.
10 years in Business Development and Strategic Partnerships within eCommerce FMCG or digital retail.
Demonstrated success leading acquisitions negotiating partnerships and delivering strategic growth initiatives.
Strong commercial judgment and financial literacy with solid negotiation and analytical skills.
Ability to convert market and customer insights into clear actionable commercial strategy.
Strategic but hands-on leadership style; able to run complex cross-functional programs end to end.
Adaptable resilient and highly results-driven.
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
