At Unitywater we operate in a diverse and inclusive environment where no two days are the same. We provide essential water supply and reliable utilities services to the Moreton Bay Sunshine Coast and Noosa regions that account for 16% of Queenslands population. Due to an exciting time for the organisation we have multiple opportunities available within the Sunshine Coast region for Cleaners and Grounds Maintenance staff.
THE POSITION
- Working across 2 Maroochydoore sites
- Own Vehicle required as often travel between sites during a shift is required
- Monday - Friday 4pm -8pm
- Availability to pick up additional hours to cover sick leave and annual leave
- Wipe scrub and/or disinfect surfaces (e.g. sinks countertops toilets etc.)
- Utilising a range of materials and equipment to clean a range of surfaces (sinks countertops toilets floors)
- Maintain facilities and equipment in a clean and hygienic condition
- Remove waste & distribute toilet/bathroom supplies and/or cleaning materials in buildings
THE PERSON
- Experience in a similar cleaning role
- Availability to work additional hours to cover sick leave and annual leave
- Must be able to obtain a Blue Card & National Police Clearance as part of application process
- Undertake Functional medical with Drug and Alcohol Test
- Good communication skills with a flexible approach
