DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Position is seasonal starting in May and running through August. Start and end dates are flexible dependent on show requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with the Firsthand and Draper to create and alter garments for 3 productions during the Wolf Trap Opera summer season.
- Must have strong hand sewing and machine sewing skills and be able to follow instructions from the Firsthand and Draper.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:
- Basic knowledge of Costume History and Construction.
- Strong hand sewing and machine sewing skills.
- Minimum of two years working in an educational or professional environment.
- Opera and/or Theatre experience preferred.
- Sensitivity and commitment to the mission of Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.
