About Us
We are a full-service HVAC building automation chiller and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance as well as engineering applications and automated control systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks assigned by Mechanical Engineers Senior Engineers and the Engineering Manager/Director.
- Assist in producing detailed schematics for HVAC systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines.
- Assist Mechanical Engineers by participating in job site surveys to gather as-built technical information.
- Draft and develop layouts for mechanical systems based on direction from Mechanical Engineers.
- Convert field surveys into usable formats for plan and project development. Use AutoCAD to develop plans.
- Participate in the companys project improvement process by maintaining/improving CAD Detail Library and CAD Standards.
- Other duties may include copying/printing/scanning assembly of equipment submittal packages assistance in preparing work scope and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- BS in Mechanical Engineering required or 2 years of CAD Drafting experience with formal AutoCAD/REVIT Drafting training/certification enrollment or completion.
- Must make autonomous decisions based on experience and project requirements.
- Develop a working knowledge of Permitting submittal requirements in the Mechanical field.
- Computer-savvy willing and able to understand and learn new software programs. Developing proficiency of AutoCAD MS Office Suite and other related software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Increasing awareness of HVAC Systems and Components (Hot Water Chilled Water Condensing Water Chillers Fans Heat Pumps etc.)
