South Lee Prep School are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our hard-working and inclusive team.
You will be a friendly hard-working and flexible member of our school catering team supporting the School Chef. You will help to cook prepare meals set up and clear lunch and support with additional duties including preparing snacks baking adapting food for nursery.
You will:
- support the School Chef in preparing lunches
- prepare salad bar items
- bake snacks
- clean up
- work on lunches and side dishes
- set up for events
- provide teas coffees and biscuits for meetings and events
- monitor the diary and supporting the school chef to ensure all commitments are met
- keep a tidy clean and organised workspace
- manage stock and planning for the days following.
