Job Summary

MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Industrial Carpenter in Lakeland FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cut fabricate and install Industrial buildings and other structures according to specifications
  • Job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and products
  • A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
  • Measure layout build forms pour concrete and finish project.
  • Ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry work
  • Being able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida drivers license
  • Must possess and maintain a valid telephone number
  • At least one-year of form carpentry experience - job will provide all tools - may bring tool belt tape measure etc.
  • Power Tools will be provided.
  • Carpenter Hand Tools are required

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
  • May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
  • Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
  • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
  • Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. Fire resistant (FRs may be required)
