Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. seeks an Industrial Carpenter in Lakeland FL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Cut fabricate and install Industrial buildings and other structures according to specifications
- Job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and products
- A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
- Measure layout build forms pour concrete and finish project.
- Ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry work
- Being able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida drivers license
- Must possess and maintain a valid telephone number
- At least one-year of form carpentry experience - job will provide all tools - may bring tool belt tape measure etc.
- Power Tools will be provided.
- Carpenter Hand Tools are required
Physical Demands
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required. Fire resistant (FRs may be required)
