DescriptionJob Summary:
The Surety Bond Specialist is primarily an internal role involving the various back-office needs within a surety department. This role requires a strong knowledge of surety risk involved on each bond and the clients needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creation & Issuance of Bond Forms
- Draft bond language
- Sign seal and issue final bonds
- Creative analysis to navigate a unique bond request
- Invoicing
- Generate new and renewal invoices for all bonds within the system for assigned accounts
- Guidance
- Possess a deep understanding of the surety bonds involved with a client the bonds mechanics and ability to convey to clients
- Marketing
- Direct marketing to carriers on smaller bonds or pre-established programs
- System Development
- Provide feedback and guidance to Surety team on how to further improve systems and processes
Qualifications:
- High School diploma is required; college degree preferred
- 2 years of surety experience
- State specific license is required
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple simultaneous and complex tasks and projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
