Your job as Field Production Specialist Fruity

As a Field Production Specialist at Enza Zaden you will oversee and support the seed production process with our vendors. Youll advise on planning and execution monitor plant growth and ensure top-quality seed production working closely with internal teams and external vendors.

You will work for both the Pepper and Cucurbit teams Advise on new production setups and ensure optimal planning.

Monitor plant growth and quality at vendor sites offering improvement guidance.

Conduct field inspections and implement plans to meet quality and efficiency targets.

Lead data collection crop health monitoring and ensure compliance with protocols.

Perform NAFI inspections and train junior colleagues.

Conduct independent assessments of crop purity and quality.

As Field Production Specialist Fruity will work closely with internal stakeholders including Seed Production Specialists Breeders and Supply Chain Specialists as well as external partners such as vendors and plant nurseries. Located in our headquarters in Enkhuizen the Netherlands you report directly to the Crop Production Manager and Organic Production Manager.

What you bring as a future colleague

A MBO or HBO degree in a relevant field;

3 to 5 years of experience in seed production or crop management;

NAFI certification and expertise in seed production crop traits and Enza genetics;

Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and constructive feedback;

Willingness to travel frequently within the country and occasionally internationally.
