Job Title: Structure Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Develop detailed structural designs perform load/stress calculations and create models for various structures (buildings bridges etc.).

• Software Proficiency: Utilize advanced CAD (AutoCAD) and BIM (Revit) software for 2D/3D modeling and design.

• Collaboration: Work closely with architects civil engineers project managers and construction teams.

• Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings specifications reports and material takeoffs.

• Compliance: Ensure designs meet building codes regulations and industry standards.

• Site Support: Conduct site inspections assess progress and provide technical guidance during construction.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.

• Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality/safety.

• Experience with relevant design software (CAD BIM structural analysis tools).

• Ability to manage tasks meet deadlines and work in a team.

Typical Duties

• Interpreting project requirements and vendor data.

• Creating modification drawings for upgrades and new structures.

• Providing technical information to field construction teams.

• Resolving design issues and challenges.
