Schneider Automation Systems Programmer

• Create control algorithms download source code to controllers manage system databases and implement an animated front-end graphical user interface.
• Experience in Multiple Systems integration getting different protocols to talk to each other and share information. One front end for multiple platforms.
• Executes project start-ups commissioning testing and troubleshooting of installed BAS controls and mechanical systems on assigned projects.
• Participates in the layout and coordination of network drops IP addresses and monitoring tools with customers IT Department personnel.
• Works with equipment vendors to coordinate communication protocols encryption and database requirements for integration to their systems.
• Runs semi-complex reports to analyze system operation works with project team to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with the contracted scope of work.
• Participates in final inspection and testing assures customer acceptance and conducts training for end user customers on system operations.
• Provides Plans & Control System Documents to application engineering for as-built drawings using the latest digital technology.
• Mentors other specialists who may need specific automation or HVAC product knowledge.

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 6 years of experience with Siemens Apogee and Desigo.
• Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems - Unitary Systems to Central Plants.
• Troubleshooting skills for determining HVAC vs. computer/controller issues.
• General understanding of IP networks.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming. (Java C)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD a plus.
• BACnet and/or LON Lonworks Control Systems Tridium NIAGARA AX/NIAGARA 4/Distech/Eclypse Direct Digital Controls Honeywell Webs MODbus Alerton Johnson Controls FX Staefa Solidyne Andover Controls Siemens and Schnieder preferred

Compensation Range: $63.00 - $83.00 per hour
