GeneralManager - Up to 48K plus up to 100% bonus

Were looking for a General Manager for the charming CityGate close to Exeters historic city centre. The City Gate has asuntrap of a courtyard 20 boutique bedrooms and a private cellar bar full ofcharacter and charm that can be hired for private events parties and business has gone from strength to strength under our previous GM who ismoving on to new opportunities and is perfectly positioned for the right person to come in and continue to drive the pub forward.

Were looking for a people-focused GM that has experiencerunning a pub and is used to working with fresh food to continue to developthis traditional yet quirky community site which is a firm favourite for localsand visitors alike. A great opportunity for someone that runs a great pubto challenge themselves in running a pub with rooms and is willing to embedthemselves within the Exeter community.

Running a Pub for Youngs:

We believe pubs should be differentiated and individual andso we are looking for entrepreneurial General Managers to put their own stampon our businesses. Were all about freedom within a framework - you decide whatgoes on the food menu - and that doesnt mean picking from a bank of recipes!You tailor your offer to your guests and grow the business in line with yourbusiness vision! You decide what events and sales driving to do what theteam uniform is and look after all your own recruitment and you are a people-focused Pub General Manager with fresh food experiencethen we want to hear from you.
