Department Overview

Job Description

Supports installs configures and evaluates network communications including LAN WAN and telecommunications hardware and software. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing. Establishes and documents standards for network architecture and ensures total network integration. Provides capacity planning and monitoring.

Basic Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining enterprise-level network management .
• 2 years experience working with LANWAN networks routers switches and network configurations
• Experience working with Security & FireWall systems

• Location: The position is based in Penang Malaysia.
• Technical Skills: Extensive practical experience with a wide range of network management and monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds Splunk Cisco SD-WAN ThousandEyesnGeniusPULSE etc..).
• Practical experience writing scripts for network automations
• Practical experience with APM tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with team managers and employees at all levels
• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
• Proven experience in deploying and managing AI/ML-driven network management platforms.
• Strong understanding scripting for use of network automation and Net DevOps (e.g. Ansible Python).
• Experience with cloud networking concepts (e.g. AWS Azure GCP OCI).
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement a global network monitoring architecture to
