We the Global Manufacturing Operations team in Amazon Devices and Services division are responsible to manage our Contract Manufacturers (CM) factories to produce our device products that meet Amazons high standards of demand schedule quality and cost. We strive for higher efficiency better quality and lower cost in manufacturing and we use the most advanced technologies in this industry to achieve them.
Job Descriptions:
Site Technical Manager Intern as the freshman to join South Ops team to work on daily management of factory operations shadowed by Senior STM/ OPM/ SME to learn the manufacturing processes of Amazon consumer products develop strong management skills on both project and CMs cultivate his/her problem-solving thinking and finally integrate into Amazon big family. At the same time we expect that STM Intern could bring us the latest technological theories that are being discussed and experimented in universities all of these would contribute to our continuous improvements of manufacturing competitiveness.
Key job responsibilities
Work closely with Senior STM/ OPM and Subject Matter Experts to manage daily factory operations.
Support manufacture test flow optimization process and yield improvements to exceed our volume production goals.
Understand the manufacture process qualification criteria manage the qualification activities and complete the documentation.
Support failure analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in factory engineering initiatives and projects of CIP.
Travel domestically to manufacturing sites as per projects required.
- Speak write and read fluently in Mandarin
- Graduate between Nov 2026 to Sept 2027 currently working towards a Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS) in Computer Science and Technology Software Engineering Data Science and Big Data Technology Automation (or similar fields).
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python C/C C# or Java.
- Work 3 to 5 days per week for at least 5 months.
- Open for domestic business trip.
- CET-6 or Excellent in read/write; good verbal English is a big plus.
- Hands-on project experience for design or manufacturing of consumer electronic products.
