DescriptionPosition Summary
We are seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer / Discipline Project Lead to lead roadway plan production while collaborating with Project Managers. This role focuses on managing technical scope production and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as roadway discipline lead for ODOT county and municipal transportation projects
Lead roadway plan development and production efforts
Coordinate with bridge drainage traffic and utility disciplines
Lead internal and external design coordination meetings
Provide mentoring and technical oversight to roadway staff
Review and stamp roadway plans as Engineer of Record when required
Oversee QA/QC reviews and design risk management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- 15 years of roadway design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience serving as technical lead on transportation projects
- Strong knowledge of ODOT standards and roadway production workflows
