Job Summary
This is a seasonal position with an expected start date in mid-April.
DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible motivated and proficient Highway and Bridge Maintenance Laborer with good ethics and a great attitude. This person will be responsible for performing highway maintenance labor work; to include traffic control set-ups bridge maintenance/cleaning and tree brush removal.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
OPERATIONS:
- Perform diverse types of highway maintenance work including bridge cleaning maintenance tree cutting and vegetation removal.
- Conducts equipment for pre- and post-trips.
- Set-up and tear down daily temporary traffic control.
- Ensures all work is conducted in compliance with strict safety guidelines.
- Drives company vehicles.
- Uses all equipment and tools safely.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 18 years of age.
- Valid drivers license with 5 years clean MVR.
- ATSSA Traffic Control Certified (company provided if not currently certified).
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
- Must be able to work days nights weekends and overtime as needed.
- Ability to drive box truck or equivalent.
- Capable and comfortable working from various heights.
- ABILITY TO TRAVEL AWAY FROM HOME FOR UP TO 1-2 WEEKS AT A TIME IN DE NJ NY PA AND VA (hotel expenses paid by the Company).

Compensation range: $18-20 hourly depending on experience.
