Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer - ArgoCD/GitOps

Location: UK - remote
Salary: 80-85K
Type: Permanent

An established and growing technology organisation is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and operate a modern cloud-native platform.

Youll work closely with engineering and security teams to deliver reliable scalable and secure systems using modern DevOps and GitOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design deploy and operate AWS infrastructure (EC2 EKS VPC IAM S3 RDS)
Build and run Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and containerised workloads
Define infrastructure using Terraform following IaC best practices
Implement GitOps workflows (Argo CD) and manage multi-environment deployments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery
Implement monitoring logging and alerting to improve reliability and performance
Apply security best practices across cloud and Kubernetes environments

Required Experience

Strong experience in ArgoCD & GitOps
Hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience in production
Terraform and infrastructure-as-code expertise
CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions GitLab CI or similar)
Solid Linux and scripting skills

Nice to Have

EKS at scale Helm multi-account AWS
Observability tools (Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch)
AWS or Kubernetes certifications
