Pre-KSpecial Support Paraprofessional

6.5 hours/day student days plus additional days as required

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; 2 years college degree desired
Completion of 2 years of postsecondary study (minimum of 48 credits); or possess an associate degree or higher (in any subject) as evidenced by transcriptspreferred
Highly Qualified trainingwill be provided for applicantshaving less than 2 years college experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
Effective communication skills
Experience working with special needs students desired

Requirements:

Duties will require regular contact with bodily fluids &/or toileting
Training and support in the areas of assistive technology eating communication sensory integration and academics
Assist student with functional mobility
Experience with academic and behavioral data collection

Hourly Rate: $23.49
