In this role you will develop innovative firmware and FPGA solutions for high-voltage systems used worldwide. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining firmware for embedded systems (e.g. TI C2000 ARM Cortex Microchip PIC STM32 NXP MKE14Z Proasic)
- Designing implementing and testing FPGA solutions for Scan-Amp systems using Altera FPGAs with Quartus Prime or similar tools
- Collaborating with international teams to integrate new tools and standardize firmware processes; occasional international travel may be required
- Troubleshooting and optimizing firmware and FPGA designs
- Documenting work and supporting knowledge transfer within the team according to published global processes
Qualifications :
- Team-oriented proactive and able to work independently
- Experience in embedded firmware development (C2000 ARM Cortex or similar) on bare metal or with a scheduler / real-time operating system
- FPGA design experience (VHDL/Verilog)
- Experience with stage-gate development processes including peer and formal design reviews
- Understanding of Z-domain mathematics and experience in algorithm development
- Strong programming skills in C/C
- Basic electronics knowledge ideally in power supply applications
- Experience in industrial or high-voltage applications is a plus
- Good English skills; German is a plus
