The Title III Project Director is a full-time grant-funded leadership role responsible for the overall management implementation and evaluation of Project FRANCIS (Faithfully Retaining Advancing Nurturing and Cultivating Indispensable Students) at FranU. The Project Director ensures compliance with federal regulations oversees project personnel manages budgets coordinates activities across departments and drives the achievement of grant objectives to improve student retention success and graduation rates in pre-clinical and clinical healthcare programs. This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost and supervises the Director of Student Success. #CB
Responsibilities- Mission Advancement
- Actively engages the Catholic and Franciscan mission and identity of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University by modeling the Franciscan values honoring the legacy of the founding congregation promoting justice for the communities we serve and integrating the Catholic and Franciscan intellectual traditions in programs courses and services
- Leadership and Oversight
- Demonstrates effective leadership in planning implementing and evaluating all Title III grant activities
- Compliance and Accountability
- Ensures strict adherence to federal state and institutional regulations policies and procedures
- Budget Management
- Manages the Title III Project budget with integrity authorizing expenditures and preparing financial reports
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Oversees the collection analysis and reporting of project data to inform continuous improvement
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicates project goals and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and fosters collaboration
- Staff Supervision and Development
- Oversee the operations and administration of the Learning Resource Center including budget management program development and staff training. Ensure continuous development and evaluation of operations to align with the Universitys goals.
- Equity and Accessibility
- Promotes equitable access and participation in all Title III programming and activities
- Institutionalization and Sustainability
- Develops strategies to institutionalize successful project initiatives beyond the grant period
- Represent the Title III Project to campus and external communities including professional development and outreach
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
QualificationsEXPERIENCE
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience successfully directing large federal grants or similar complex projects;
- Demonstrated experience in budget management personnel supervision and federal compliance;
- Experience in grant proposal development and reporting preferred
EDUCATION
- Masters Degree or higher in Business Education Public Policy Higher Education or a related field
SPECIAL SKILLS
- Excellent written and oral communication interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and with external partners
