Job Summary
Access Mining is expanding our Safety and Training Team at our underground gold mining project in Western Australia.
About the Role:
As our Safety and Training Coordinator you will be responsible for implementing health safety environment and training requirements to deliver high standards and levels of employee safety and health. You will provide leadership and support the project to achieve scheduled targets and deliverables in a safe productive and profitable manner.
This role would suit:
- An experienced Operator or Fitter looking to transition into safety and training or
- An experienced Trainer/Assessor with a minimum of a couple of years underground hard rock experience.
About You:
To be successful you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Support underground operations and maintenance teams with safety and training strategies
- Manage workplace training and assessment activities
- Administration of WHS and training databases
- Manage the employee injury management process and return to work plans
- Facilitate incident investigations targeted at organisational learning
- Coordinate the delivery of inductions training assessments and Zero Harm meetings
- Conducting various inspections observations and audits to drive continuous improvement

- The role is offered either 15 days on / 13 days off or an 8 days on / 6 days off roster. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to choose their preferred roster arrangement
