Paraeducators play a vital role in helping students succeed by providing instructional behavioral and classroom support. These roles are perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a direct impact in the (Both Locations)Support classroom instruction under the guidance of teachers or special education staffProvide 1:1 or smallgroup academic and behavioral supportAssist in implementing IEP accommodations and behavior plansHelp with classroom supervision transitions and general learning supportReinforce lessons modify assignments and assist students with understanding materialMaintain a safe positive and inclusive learning environmentProvide support for students with special needs which may include mobility communication or personal care assistance (depending on assignment)Requirements (Both Locations)Must be 18High school diploma or equivalentPatience reliability and strong communication skillsAbility to work onsite within Simi Valley or Thousand Oaks schoolsMust meet all federal state and district compliance requirements
