About the Role
We are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join a leading New Zealand employer working across industrial plants manufacturing facilities and processing sites. You will be responsible for installation maintenance faultfinding and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. This role suits someone who thrives in fastpaced production environments and is confident working with motors VSDs control systems and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair industrial electrical systems motors and control panels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on production and processing equipment
- Work with VSDs PLCs and motor control systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Perform testing inspection and preventative maintenance
- Ensure all work complies with NZ electrical and site safety standards
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Minimum Requirements
- You must already hold EWRB registration (full or Limited Certificate)
- 3 years experience as an Industrial Electrician
- Strong experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Experience with motors VSDs control systems and faultfinding
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Good English communication skills
- Willingness to work shifts/overtime if required
Highly Desirable
- Experience in food processing manufacturing heavy industry or production plants
- Supervisory or lead experience
- Exposure to NZ Australian or similar electrical standards
For Overseas Candidates
- You must already hold EWRB registration
- Willing and able to relocate to New Zealand
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one
- Willing to complete medicals police checks and immigration documentation
