Senior Trial Attorney (Contract)
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to lead complex automotive products liability cases in a fast-paced trial-forward environment. This is a fully on-site full-time role (MondayFriday 9:00 AM6:00 PM) for a seasoned litigator who thrives in high-stakes litigation drives case strategy through verdict and mentors litigation teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage trial teams on complex product liability matters

Serve as first or second chair in jury trials (state and federal courts)

Take and defend depositions; handle mediations and court hearings

Work closely with expert witnesses and utilize litigation technology

Develop a case strategy and mentor associates and staff
Required Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school
-
Active California Bar license
-
10 years as a practicing attorney
-
5 years of litigation and trial experience
-
First or second chair trial experience strongly preferred

Strong legal writing analytical and leadership skills
-
Comfortable in a fast-paced performance-driven environment
Compensation & Work Structure

Hourly Rate: $84.13 $96.15 (based on experience)

Billing Requirement: 150160 hours per month
